Action against Naxalites intensified in Chhattisgarh: Police demolished the huge monument built by Naxalites.
Raipur: In compliance with the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, police and security forces have intensified action against Naxalites in the state.
Under the Naxal eradication campaign, area demining and combing has been started in remote areas of Bastar region. Searching is being done on a large scale. In this connection, today a huge monument built by Naxalites in the middle of Salatong village of Sukma district has been demolished in the presence of police personnel.
Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Kiran Chavan, a large number of police personnel under the leadership of ASP Naxal Operation Prabhat Kumar reached Salatong village today and demolished the Naxalite memorial built in the middle of the village through JCB. Search operation has been started in the entire district.
