Bilaspur. Bilaspur Municipal Corporation has taken major action against illegal plotting in D-Block of Tifra. The corporation bulldozed more than six illegal construction sites. During this, illegally constructed roads were demolished and fencing was removed. According to Municipal Corporation Building Officer Suresh Sharma, people were building houses without permission. All those doing illegal construction have been warned. Also, their construction material has also been seized.
The action includes two acres of land (Khasra number 151-1, 152-2) of Bhuri Bai alias Pokhra husband Upendra Kashyap, 1.96 acres of land (Khasra number 144) of Ramadhar Puran Suryavanshi, one acre of land of Ramandeep Saluja and land of three other people.
According to the information, most of the land in D-Block of Tifra belongs to farmers. Brokers had started illegal plotting by making agreements with the farmers. People were buying plots in greed for cheap plots without checking the layout, diversion and colonizer license. Houses were also being built on these plots. The corporation has banned all illegal construction.
