Action started in the case of vandalism on ED’s vehicles

Durg. During the raid on Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s OSD Ashish Verma’s house, a case has been registered for assaulting the team of ED (Enforcement Directorate) and vandalizing his vehicle. Bhilai three police have registered a case against unknown people and started investigation.

Three different teams of ED had raided the house of three Bhilai residents Manish Banchor and Ashish Verma including their close Vijay Bhatia in Nehru Nagar Bhilai in the early hours of Wednesday, 23 August. During this, there was a gathering of supporters outside Manish Banchor and Ashish Verma’s house and the action was being opposed. When some people tried to enter inside the house, they were rebuffed by the CISF personnel deployed for security.

After this, when the ED team started taking action from Ashish Verma’s house in the evening, the angry supporters ran to kill him. Not only this, some people also pelted stones at the car of ED officials and broke its glass. Seeing the delicacy of the occasion, ED officers and jawans left from there.
