Action taken against leaders who spread unrest

Bilaspur: In the last phase of the election campaign, incidents of fighting between the opposing parties are coming to light. Police have registered three FIRs in these cases. BJP councilor of Sarkanda area, Shyam Sahu has filed a report that on the evening of 13th November, when he was campaigning with some people in Bandhwa Para, Pinku alias Vinay Pandey of Nutan Chowk abused and beat him. Due to which he got injured. Pinku Pandey has also written a report against the councilor. He said that on the day of the incident, when he was talking to a person about the voter list, councilor Shyam Sahu reached there and abused and beat him.

Councilor Shyam Sahu says that his gold ring fell on this occasion. Whereas Pinku Pandey has written a report that the gold necklace is missing from his neck. Here, a report of assault on Congress workers has also been registered at Belgahna outpost. Congress worker Vidhiram Sidar has said in his complaint that on Tuesday, when he had gone out with his colleagues to campaign for the party, people in a car stopped near Navagaon and beat him up, due to which he got injured. He had to be treated in the hospital. The police have said that they will register crimes in all the cases and investigate.
