Actor Vidhyut Jamwal said such a big thing on representing Kalaripayattu
Bollywood action star Vidyut Jammwal is elated that his name has figured among the top 10 martial artists in the world. The actor started learning Indian martial arts at the age of three. Vidyut on Sunday shared a screenshot on Instagram, where his name appears on the Google search engine “Top Martial Artists in the World” along with well-known martial artists like Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Bruce Lee, Johnny Tri Nguyen, Steven Seagal, Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa. Speaking to IANS, the actor said, “For me it has always been an acknowledgment of the traditional Indian martial art of Kalaripayattu, which is the mother of all martial arts. I feel proud to represent the mother of all martial arts, Kalaripayattu. It is an absolute honour.” The ‘Commando’ star has also trained with several martial artists globally and has also performed in live shows. On the work front, the upcoming film ‘Krack – Jeetega To Jeega’ is an exciting extreme sports film. It is written by Sarim Momin and Rehan Khan. Vidyut made his debut in 2011 with ‘Force’. He featured in the Times of India’s list of Top 10 Most Desirable Men in India in 2012 and 2013.
