Mumbai Actress Drishti Dhami, who is in the news for the crime thriller series ‘Duranga 2’, has spoken openly about the emotional journey of her character and how she enters that zone.
‘Duranga’ is the official adaptation of the Korean show ‘Flower of Evil’. New mysteries are brewing and unfolding as Gulshan Devaiah and Amit Sadh’s characters engage in an epic showdown to reclaim their identities in the new season.
Talking about season two, Drishti said: “Season 2 has a lot of twists and complex emotions, it’s darker and scarier. The series is well shot and season 2 is going to be a lot of fun. “
On her character graph, the ‘Dil Mil Gaye’ fame actress said, “I don’t really think much while doing any scene, I just get in the zone and listen to the director.”
He shared, “Also, when you do Season 1 and Season 2, you invest emotion in the character. It’s just like you keep reading and go with the flow. That’s how the journey goes. “
Drishti said, “Not really, I didn’t take any pressure for season 2, but, yes, shooting was more fun and easier because we knew everyone.”
He further added, “Working with director Rohan Sippy sir was amazing. I don’t think any of us took any pressure to perform better for Season 2, it happened in a very organic manner.”
Gulshan, Drishti Dhami, Amit Sadh, Barkha Sen Gupta, Rajesh Khattar will return reprising their respective roles in the second season of the show.
The eight-episode ‘Duranga S2’ will premiere on October 24 on ZEE5.
