After a fight, the husband stabbed his wife to death

Hyderabad: A 33-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her husband over personal matters at Adibatla in Ranga Reddy district on Saturday night.

The victim, Banothu Jyoti (33), lived with her husband Banothu Jabbar Lal at Surajnagar Turkyamjal in Abdullapurmet police station area.

Adibatala Inspector P Raghuveer Reddy said that on Saturday night, there was a fight between Jabbar and Jyoti over some family issues, during which the man repeatedly attacked Jyoti with a knife, seriously injuring her.

Hearing the noise, the local people informed the police, the police reached the spot and admitted the woman to the local government hospital, where the doctors declared her brought dead. Later, his body was shifted to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered and the police is investigating.

Jabbar Lal fled soon after killing his wife and the police are making efforts to nab him.
