Airport parking contractor received notice

Raipur : On receiving complaints from passengers regarding parking at the airport, a notice was issued to the parking contractor and summoned on 24.11.2023 and it was further told what measures were taken to redress the complaints received from passengers regarding car parking management at Raipur Airport. To minimize any human intervention, installation of RFID and automated collection of parking fees through FASTag as soon as possible, the agency has been directed to complete the installation and commissioning of the system within 7 working days. The parking contractor has been directed to appoint more staff for traffic management during peak hours and replace the erring staff.

Ensure smooth flow of vehicles to avoid congestion. A committee of senior officials has been constituted for active monitoring and implementation of the parking policy of AAI and prompt redressal of parking related issues, if any. Any kind of misbehavior with passengers at the airport is completely unacceptable and The agency has been warned that any further complaint will take strict action as per the contract including termination of the contract.
