Entertainment: Akshay Kumar has expressed concern over the increasing reliance on AI and VFX in modern action films, stressing that it often compromises authenticity.
He explained that action cinema has changed significantly over the past few years. Previously, stunts were performed with real effort and physical involvement, but today, most action is enhanced or completely recreated using VFX.
Kumar also shared his reservations about AI-driven filmmaking, saying that audiences are smart enough to see the difference. According to him, audiences can feel the effort behind real action, which technology cannot completely replicate.
Expressing his passion for traditional filmmaking, Akshay Kumar said his aim is to work on a film that showcases authentic, real action. He compared it to the difference between a hand-drawn painting and a printed painting—showing how authenticity has a special value that artificial enhancements often lack.
