Akshay Kumar is the reason I got the job in ‘OMG 2’: Pankaj Tripathi
New Delhi (IANS). Actor Pankaj Tripathi, who is known for his different style, is enjoying the success of ‘OMG 2’ these days. She talked about her relationship with Akshay Kumar, her co-star in the film.
He said that it was Akshay who recommended his name for the film.
Pankaj and Akshay are seen together for the second time in ‘OMG 2’. Both had earlier worked in ‘Bachchan Pandey’, which was released in 2022.
Talking to IANS, Pankaj said, “It was great working with him for the second time. He was the one who recommended my name in the film.”
He said, “She has a strong bond with him and he is a very hardworking actor. He has acted very beautifully in the film. I have seen, that’s why I am saying. I have a very good relationship with him. I believe in him and admire him.
‘OMG 2’ released on August 11 along with ‘Gadar 2’ starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. Upon release, the film collected Rs 10.26 crore on the first day.
Although the film is now inching towards Rs 100 crore.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “‘OMG 2’ continues to win hearts & earn money after huge jump on Independence Day, set to score century in Weekend 2.”
Akshay took to Twitter on Thursday to thank people for liking the film.
