The film, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, received widespread praise and earned the actress several accolades. During her recent appearance at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, Alia recited a dialogue from the film, earning a thunderous applause from the audience.
On Thursday, December 7, Alia Bhatt joined the ‘In-Conversation’ sidebar section of the third edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah. Her impeccable style came to the fore in a nude colored off-shoulder shimmery dress, which was accompanied with dewy makeup and wavy hair.
Amidst the engaging interaction, the audience requested Alia to speak a dialogue from her film Gangubai Kathiawadi. Quickly modifying his voice to mold the character, he delivered impressive lines starting with “Izzat se jeeneka, kisi se darneka nahi”, which received loud hooting, cheering and applause.
