Alia Bhatt arrived at the event wearing a black short dress with cutout details. However, what caught most attention was the brand’s Jackie 1961 transparent bag that she carried to the fashion event. Many pictures and videos of Alia from the event are going viral on Instagram. While many are praising Alia’s beauty, some are trolling the actress badly for carrying an ’empty’ bag.
Although Alia always surprises social media users with her style and fashion, but sometimes she also has to face the wrath of netizens. Something similar is happening on reaching this event with an empty bag. Angry netizens are lashing out at Aaliya. One user wrote, ‘If the bag is empty then why is Alia carrying it.’ Another wrote in the comment, ‘Purse is meant to keep at least a few things.’
However, there are some other netizens as well, who came forward to defend Alia. According to them, Alia has made India proud by making it to the event. One wrote, ‘Look how much importance the small bag is getting! People really can’t stand a 5’5 tall guy standing up and representing his country on the global stage. This is one of the reasons why India never grows as a country: Indians’
On the work front for Alia Bhatt, the actress will next be seen in Karan Johar’s romantic comedy ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. Ranveer Singh is in the lead role with him in the film. The film is set to release on July 28. The Dharma Productions film also stars veteran actors Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan in pivotal roles. Along with this, the actress is going to make her Hollywood debut this year with the spy action thriller film Heart of Stone.
