Recently the actress finally talked about her first meeting with the filmmaker. During a session, Alia shared what happened when she met KJO for the first time for Student of the Year. she remembers. “Years later, when I was in school I was called to meet Karan Johar for Student of the Year. I was in 11th grade, literally walking from school, so I was in my uniform. I was much healthier at the time and enjoyed eating French fries more. I thought, ‘I look great, there’s nothing wrong with that.’ So, I walked into his office, and he said I was attractive in person and asked me to audition,” she said. At the time she didn’t know what kind of audition it was, but she went ahead with it and the rest is history.
