All banks will remain closed in these 26 states on June 29, holidays in July

The details of bank holidays on June 29 have come from the Reserve Bank of India. On this day all the banks are going to remain closed in 26 states of the country. The reason for this is that the festival of Bakrid is to be celebrated across the country on 28 and 29 June. In such a situation, banks may remain closed even on June 28 in some places. Along with this, banks will remain closed for 15 out of 31 days in different states in the month of July. Here are the complete details of bank holidays.
According to Islamic customs, the festival of Bakrid is celebrated 10 days after the moon sighting of ‘Mah-e-Zilhijj’. This year the moon has been sighted on June 19, so in most states the festival of Bakrid will be celebrated on June 29 only. Although some states can celebrate it on 28 June as well. Therefore, if you have any work related to the bank, then settle it according to the holiday of your state.
Banks may remain closed in these cities on June 28
In some cities of the country, the bank holiday on Bakrid can remain on June 28 as well. This includes cities like Belapur, Jammu, Kochi, Mumbai, Nagpur, Srinagar and Thiruvananthapuram. If the banks in these cities do not remain closed on June 28, then they will definitely remain closed on June 29.

Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, Tripura, Mizoram, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Manipur, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Banks will remain closed on June 29 in the states of West Bengal, Rajasthan, Manipur, Telangana and Gujarat.
According to the official holiday list of RBI, there will be no work in bank branches of all the states on this day. Due to the long weekend, many people have also made plans to go out on this occasion. On June 30, work will be done in banks as per normal rules. While the very next day of the beginning of the month of July being a Sunday, there will be a bank holiday.
