All the guarantees of Congress failed: Anurag Thakur
Raipur. Union Information and Broadcasting, Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur has said that the situation of false guarantees of the false Congress is such that from Chhattisgarh to Karnataka and Himachal, all the guarantees of the Congress have failed. Those who have no guarantee of their own are roaming around with a bundle of guarantees. Shri Thakur said that we had made Chhattisgarh a state. The BJP government did the work of taking it forward in the last 15 years but the work of destroying it was done by the Bhupesh government. Now the time has come again when we will beautify this Chhattisgarh.
Union Minister Thakur said in a press conference held at the BJP office in Ekatm Complex on Tuesday that false claims, false promises, not good intentions of Congress. I have come to tell you about the false promises and unfulfilled promises of Congress in 2018. Today Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is running away from keeping the report card of his tenure and investigating scams. Today, after 5 years, the people of Chhattisgarh are saying to Chief Minister Baghel – Run Bhupesh, run, how much more will you run? The public is saying – enough of betting, bye-bye Bhupesh Baghel. Thakur said that in 2018, Congress had promised to give Rs 500 every month to Matrishakti under Mahtari Samman Yojana but it was not given.
The promise of providing four free LPG cylinders to every rural family was not delivered. Complete prohibition was promised, but liquor was not banned, instead liquor was delivered to every home. Congress had promised to give unemployment allowance of Rs 2500 every month to 10 lakh youth but did not give it. Will provide employment to lakhs of youth, but did not provide employment. In return they gave PSC scam, only three people from the families of Congress leaders got employment but the youth of Chhattisgarh did not get employment.
Congress had promised to provide free transport facilities to the students, but it was not provided. Congress had promised to provide land for house and garden to every landless rural family of five members, but it did not. Thakur said that recruitment to the vacant posts of 50 thousand teachers was not done in five years.
Congress also did not fulfill the promise of giving the outstanding bonus of two years of BJP rule. Gauthan scam happened here, cow dung scam happened. Now the curse of Mother Cow, Mother Ganga, Mahadev, Congress is clear. Chhattisgarh is not the only state where Congress made false promises. In Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka also, Congress brothers and sisters have come making false promises. Now for 11 months, Rahul Gandhi has not gone to Himachal Pradesh to show his face.
Union Minister Thakur said that free treatment worth Rs 20 lakh was not provided in Chhattisgarh, there was talk of giving houses to everyone, 200 food processing units were not set up, elderly people did not get pension of Rs 1500. There is such a long list of guarantees from Congress. All these guarantees seem to be failing. This assembly election is an election to save the innocent people of Chhattisgarh from false promises and false guarantees. Shri Thakur said that after the Mahadev App scam, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Baghel is hiding his face. Do scam, pay land and earn money.
The speculation continued for five years and the Chief Minister’s office continued to provide protection because the land lease was worth Rs 508 crore. Land was paid through Mahadev app, scam money was received, protection was given, but now that will not happen. There will be neither Congress government nor protection. Shri Thakur said that farmers should take the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has said that they will buy paddy for Rs 3100 and the outstanding bonus of two years of paddy will be given on December 25, on the birthday of Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji. What Bhupesh Baghel’s government could not give in 5 years, will be paid to the farmers in less than five weeks on 25th December. Friends, Baghel government has not done anything for the development of youth, we will also provide one lakh government jobs and lakhs of non-government jobs. We will also create such alternative employment.
