Amar Giri did not come to court regarding the death of Mahant Narendra Giri, summons issued
Uttar Pradesh. Amar Giri, a witness and complainant in the suicide case of former president of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, Mahant Narendra Giri, did not appear in the District Magistrate Court on Monday (December 11). The prosecution summoned Amar Giri from the District Court. In the last hearing, Amar Giri’s complete statement could not be recorded in the District Magistrate Court. Now the next hearing in this case will be on January 2.
Crime DGC Gulab Chandra Agrahari and CBI lawyer A.K. Tiwari was present in the court hearing today. Amar Giri had not come to record his statement in the last few meetings, hence District Judge Santosh Rai passed the NBW. The plaintiff’s personal advocate Amar Giri approached the court demanding repeal of the NBW. It was also promised that the plaintiff would be present in the court at all times during evidence collection and cross-examination.
On this basis, District Judge Santosh Rai canceled the NBW. After this Amar Giri did not appear in the court today. The hearing of the case has started in the court of District Judge Santosh Rai and the opposition’s statement cannot be made without recording the complete statement. During the court hearing on March 31, charges were framed against accused Anand Giri, Aadya Prasad Tiwari and Sandeep Tiwari. Anand Giri has been charged under section 306 of the IPC.
Aadya Prasad Tiwari and Sandeep Tiwari have been charged under sections 306 and 120B of the IPC. On the recommendation of the state government, the CBI investigated the case and filed a charge sheet in the court. Let us tell you that Mahant Narendra Giri was found dead on 20 September 2021 at Shri Math Baghambari Gaddi Guest House. Serious allegations have also been made against Bade Hanuman Temple priests Aadya Prasad Tiwari and Sandeep Tiwari. Anand Giri is in jail since September 22, 2021, while two other accused Aadhya Prasad Tiwari and Sandeep Tiwari are lodged in Naini Central Jail. Three accused including Anand Giri are yet to be released on bail.
