Ambedkar’s death anniversary celebrated at NTPC Ramagundam
Peddapalli: The death anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar was celebrated at the National Thermal Energy Corporation, Ramagundam on Wednesday. Under the leadership of Project Head (Ramagundam and Telangana) Kedar Ranjan Pandu, NTPC employees paid tribute to Ambedkar by garlanding his statue. Later, backpacks, bottles and examination boards were handed over to students of nearby public schools as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (RSE) in an event celebrated at the Vikas Kendra. At that time Kedar Ranjan Pandu wanted people to adopt Ambedkar’s ideology in their lives. He also wanted people to try their level best to achieve more equality in the society. The principal architect of the Constitution of India, Ambedkar was not only a jurist and statesman but also a tireless defender of social justice, equality and the rights of marginalized communities. On that occasion, an essay writing competition on Ambedkar was organized in which all the students participated. On this occasion, all GMs, HODs, CMOs, members of Central NBC, representatives of Welfare Association SC ST, employees, students and teachers of nearby villages were also present.
