Here a pregnant woman was brought to the road by walking for about one and a half to two kilometers on a cot, after which she was taken to the hospital through a vehicle. In fact, in a dependent village Newaribahara Pandopara of Gram Panchayat Katkona of Khadgawan block, a pregnant woman who was serious due to the bite of a poisonous animal was carried by her relatives on a cot for about one and a half to two kilometers on foot. After this the woman could get the facility of vehicle. Pando woman is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Baikunthpur. The video of the woman being carried away in a cot is being widely circulated on the internet media.

According to information, pregnant Sumaria Pando of the Pando tribe living in the township was bitten by a poisonous animal on Sunday. Due to the effect of poison, his health started deteriorating rapidly. Arranging transportation to the hospital was not easy as ambulances or private vehicles could not reach Pandopara due to no road. In such a situation, the family members made the serious woman lie on the cot. Four persons carried him on their shoulders and took him to the main road on foot. After taking the woman for about one and a half to two kilometers, she was taken to the Community Health Center by vehicle. In view of the critical condition of the woman, she was admitted to Baikunthpur District Hospital. Here also the doctors had referred the woman to the Medical College Ambikapur in view of her critical condition. The relative’s wish was to get treatment done in Baikunthpur itself.
