Bilaspur. In the case of ambulance carrying a patient overturning at Nehru Chowk, Civil Lines Police has registered a crime against the driver. The High Court has taken cognizance of this incident and the Collector SP has to file a reply.
It is known that Kamal Kashyap, a patient from Patgwa village of GPM district, was being taken from SIMS Hospital to a private hospital in the ambulance. During the red signal near Nehru Chowk, ambulance driver Hussaini moved the ambulance van from the wrong side.
During this time she turned around. Due to this, patient Kamal Kashyap, his wife Anita and the patient’s aunt Jaymati Bai suffered injuries. On the complaint of Jaymati Bai, the police have registered an offense against the driver for careless driving.
