Amritsar: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inaugurates street cricket league

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inaugurated the Gully Cricket League under the ‘Hope Initiative’ campaign of Punjab Police to make the state drug free at Gandhi Ground here on Wednesday.
Thousands of players from hundreds of schools played exhibition matches. Students from government schools watched the inauguration ceremony and cricket match at Gandhi Maidan. Many people held placards in their hands which had a message for Punjabis to stay away from drugs and start playing games.

Balloons were released in the air on the occasion of the inauguration of the Gully Cricket League. The CM signed a bat during the ceremony. Senior police officers from the city and neighboring districts were present during the program.
