An important meeting was held in Raipur to stop terror funding

Raipur. ED will now also be involved in joint action against Naxalites. A decision in this regard was taken during the discussion on “Plan of Action to Naxal” in a big meeting held in Raipur regarding terror funding. Apart from Chhattisgarh, IGs and DIGs of Jharkhand, Odisha, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh were present in the meeting. During this, the recent revelations regarding terror funding were discussed with the ED and NIA officers. Along with this, emphasis was laid on joint operation of ED and NIA. In this regard, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that if there is financial transaction in such cases, then ED’s job is to stop it. It can also be information for IB to extract information about the transaction. Various agencies do this work. It seems that if the case is worth giving to ED, then it will be given. He said that whether the Naxalites have urban, legal, financial or rural base, agencies are working on everything.
