Andhra Pradesh Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday distributed Rs 8 million to 2,807 eligible young lawyers as financial assistance under the ‘YSR Law Nestam’ scheme. Pointing out to the beneficiary lawyers across the state, Minister Principal said, “I want to tell all my brothers and sisters to help the poor in a humanitarian manner just like the government is helping us.” Reddy pointed out that the scheme provides Rs 60,000 per lawyer per year and has been implemented during the last four years, adding that the state government has spent Rs 50 million on the YSR Law Nestum. Additionally, the CM observed that a social welfare trust of Rs 100 million has also been created under the leadership of the Attorney General and others.
