Andhra Pradesh News: Security beefed up at Naidu’s residence in Undavalli
Vijayawada. Vijayawada: Security has been beefed up at TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu’s residence at Undavali in Amaravati, Guntur as leaders thronged the venue to congratulate him after the party’s victory in the recently held Assembly elections. Two additional superintendents of police from Guntur are monitoring the security arrangements at Naidu’s residence. MPs, MLAs and other senior politicians and officials were allowed in only after verifying the details from the list available with them.
Meanwhile, officials in consultation with senior TDP leaders are scouting three venues in Amravati to hold Naidu’s swearing-in ceremony. The material and other items required for erecting the stage and barricades have reached Amaravati in over a dozen vans. Workers will begin preparations for the ceremony once the venue is finalised. As TDP leaders and workers are expected to attend the function in large numbers, the administration is planning to make elaborate arrangements for the grand event.
