Indian Markets Closed In The Green Sensex Jumped 513 Points Nifty Crossed 26000

Domestic stock markets recovered from losses. The markets ended in gains as IT and financial stocks performed well. The Sensex started with a slight loss at 84,643.78 points compared to the previous session. After that, the markets recovered. The markets gained due to strong buying along with the decline in crude oil prices. The Sensex, which touched a low of 84,525.98 intraday, rose to a high of 85,236.77 points. Finally, it closed at 85,186.47 with a gain of 513.45 points. The Nifty rose 142.60 points to settle at 26,052.65. The BSE Midcap rose 0.3 percent, while the Smallcap index fell 0.4 percent. Nifty Bank touched a new record high of 59,264.25 points for the third consecutive session. It closed at 59,216.05, up 0.54 percent. The IT index rose 3 percent, the PSU Bank index rose 1.2 percent. The Media index fell 0.3 percent, and the Reality index fell 0.4 percent.
HCL Technologies, Max Healthcare, Infosys, Wipro and TCS were the top gainers in the Nifty, while TMPV, Coal India, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Ports and Bajaj Finance lost ground. GR Infraprojects shares fell 2 percent despite winning an order from Western Railways. Infosys shares rose 4 percent ahead of the buyback offer, while Hindustan Unilever shares rose nearly 2 percent. Biocon shares fell 3 percent, National Securities Depository shares fell 1.2 percent on the SEBI warning letter, and HCL Technologies shares rose 4 percent on the back of Canada expansion. Over 120 stocks like Bharat Forge, M&M Financial, MCX India, Hero MotoCorp, Federal Bank, Titan Company, SBI, BHEL, etc. hit 52-week highs on BSE.
