Apparel shop catches fire in Odisha’s Angul, staff narrowly escape
Angul: An apparel store caught fire in Angul of Odisha a little ago in which dress materials etc. worth lakhs turned to ashes. The fire was so huge, the fire services department officials were facing trouble to douse the flames.
As per reports, a dress store that sells pant, shirt etc. situated at the Bazar chowk of Angul town caught fire at about 11.30 am on Monday. When the fire incident took place the staff of the store were still in the shop. They ran outside to save their lives and narrowly escaped.
After getting information about the fire breaking out, the Fire services personnel rushed to the spot and tried to douse the flames.
It has been learnt that the fire accident took place due to an electric short circuit.
By the time this report was written, by then the fire had not been completely douses. A fire services personnel was saying that they are facing problems to douse the flames.
