Argument over barking of pet dog’s owner stabbed

Bengaluru: A 34-year-old man was stabbed to death by a group of people after a fight with his dog in Doddachimanahalli village in Bengaluru Rural district, police said on Tuesday. The victim, identified as Madhu Kumar, was attacked on Monday night and is currently admitted in the hospital. According to the police, the fight broke out when the accused persons from the same neighborhood asked Kumar about the frequent attacks by his dog. Following this, the accused physically attacked the pet owner and his wife Mamta. One of the attackers stabbed Kumar in the stomach. The pet owner lodged a complaint with the Vishwanathpura police commissionerate, an official said. The officer said that the accused fled from the city after the incident and the police have started investigating the incident.
