Arrested for beating tribal youth, police is taking further action
Surajpur. The police have arrested three accused for assaulting a tribal youth on suspicion of theft. In this case, State General Secretary of Tribal Congress Shiv Bhajan reached the police station with the Maravi victim. Where he lodged an FIR in the police station and demanded action against the culprits. On this, the police have registered a crime against the accused. In which further action is going on.
The name of the victim is being told as Kalinder. Who is a resident of Sarhari village, about 10 kilometers away from Pratappur police station area. Police said that the victim was assaulted by JCB driver, Poklen driver and helper de of the road construction company. All three had caught the young man on suspicion of mobile theft. Then tied both his hands with JCB and beat him up. When the police inquired after going to the victim’s house, it was found that the victim or his relatives did not file a report in the police station due to fear. The police visited the victim youth. After this the report was filed.
