Mumbai: A meeting of 28 parties under the INDIA alliance is going to be held in Mumbai on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Congress, NCP and Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, included in the Maha Vikas Aghadi, held a meeting on Wednesday regarding the preparations for the meeting to be held on Thursday and Friday. In this meeting, several agendas regarding Maharashtra including the preparations for the meeting were discussed. After the meeting, Uddhav Thackeray clearly said that even though we have different ideologies, our aim is the same. That objective is to remove BJP.

Uddhav Thackeray said, ‘Now there is no one to save BJP. Because of us, these people have reduced the cylinder by Rs 200. Maharashtra is facing the crisis of drought and there are many problems, but they talk big and go away. We have come together to protect Mother India. Uddhav Thackeray said that the British were also doing development, but we need freedom along with development. This government has now moved towards dictatorship. We all have come together to get rid of him. Our ideology may be different, but the objective is the same.

Before him, Sharad Pawar said that a meeting of 28 parties is going to be held in Mumbai. We are going to give a strong option for change in the country. Uddhav Thackeray said that this meeting of INDIA is for the country, not for me. We will discuss all the issues in detail the day after tomorrow. Meanwhile, Congress leader Ashok Chavan said that we are fighting to save democracy from BJP. Meanwhile, Uddhav Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi has said that Uddhav Thackeray can be the face for the post of Prime Minister. Apart from them, names of Arvind Kejriwal from AAP, Akhilesh Yadav from Samajwadi Party and Nitish Kumar from JDU have been put forward. Two Chief Ministers of Congress have advocated the name of Rahul Gandhi.
