ASI arrested on charges of rape

Bilaigarh. In Chhattisgarh’s Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district, assistant sub-inspector Prabhat Sahu has been accused of rape. Bhatgaon police is interrogating the accused ASI in custody. It is being told that Prabhat Sahu was earlier posted at Bhatapara police station. The victim woman is also a resident of the same place. He had met Assistant Sub-Inspector Prabhat Sahu in connection with a case. After this both of them became friends. Then Assistant Sub-Inspector Prabhat Sahu was transferred to Bhatgaon. Due to acquaintance, the woman went to meet him when he called her to Bhatgaon. After this Prabhat Sahu raped her.

After the incident, the woman lodged an FIR at Bhatapara police station. After this, while taking action, the police took the accused Prabhat Sahu into custody. At present the police is investigating the matter. Media personnel are continuously trying to get information in this context from Subhatgaon police station in-charge Rajesh Sahu. But the station in-charge is giving evasive answers. Along with this, other police officers are also trying to avoid saying anything in this matter.
