Asian Games 2023: Another gold for India, Parul Choudhary created history
New Delhi: On the 10th day of Asian Games 2023, Parul Chaudhary gave India its first gold. She did this feat in the women’s 5000 meter race. India has won a total of four medals so far. Arjun Singh and Sunil Singh Salam opened India’s account by winning a bronze medal in the men’s 1000m canoe double. Preeti won the second medal of the day in the form of bronze in boxing. Vidya Ramraj won bronze in 400 meter hurdle race. Apart from this, the Kabaddi team started its campaign with a win by defeating Bangladesh, while in archery, Jyoti and Aditi have made it to the semi-finals. India qualified for the finals by finishing top in the men’s 4×400 meters relay. India has entered the semi-finals by defeating Nepal by 23 runs in the quarter-finals of men’s cricket. Abhishek Verma made it to the finals of Men’s Individual Archery. Lovlina Borgohain has confirmed the silver medal by reaching the finals of her category.
