The table tennis team too was given a rousing send-off in New Delhi. Led by Commonwealth Games men’s singles gold medallist Achanta Sharad Kamal, the Indian teams will be hoping to improve on their performance in the 2018 edition of the Games.In 2018, India won two bronze medals with the men’s team claiming third place in the Team Competition while the pair of Achanta Sharath Kamal and Manika Batra claimed bronze in the mixed doubles competition.
