Asifabad: 12 arrested for gambling in two incidents

Asifabad: In two separate incidents, twelve people were arrested for participating in banned gambling games in two villages of Wankiddy mandal.

Wankiddy sub-inspector, D Sagar, said six people were arrested while committing the crime on the outskirts of the Indian village on Tuesday following the FIP. Rs 8710 cash was found in his account.

Four people were arrested while gambling on the outskirts of Velgi area on Monday afternoon. Out of the four he charged an effective liquid of Rs 3620.
