Atal Sandhya organized on Good Governance Day
Raipur. Atal Sandhya will be organized in all the urban bodies of the state on the occasion of Good Governance Day on 25th December, the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Under this, poet’s conference, poetry reading of Atal ji, Atal thought seminar, essay competition and exhibition on the life of Atal ji will be organised. The Urban Administration and Development Department of Chhattisgarh Government has given necessary guidelines to all the District Collectors, Commissioners of Urban Bodies and Chief Municipal Officers regarding the organization of Good Governance Day.
In the instructions issued, it has been said that Good Governance Day should be started at Atal Chowk at 10 am in the program organized on 25 December 2023 in the dignified presence of elected public representatives and the general public. On the occasion of ‘Good Governance Day’, by garlanding the photograph of the former Prime Minister of India Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Atal Chowk and after lighting the lamp, the elected representatives and the general public should also take a pledge to ‘establish good governance’ in the urban bodies. . The Urban Administration Development Department has asked District Collectors, Urban Body Commissioners and Chief Municipal Officers to immediately issue necessary instructions to all the Corporations, Municipalities and Panchayats of the district regarding organizing Good Governance Day.
