Attempt to steal money from ATM by vandalism
Raipur: The thief, who failed to break into the ATM, destroyed the machine itself. Due to this the bank has suffered a loss of about Rs 2.5 lakh. This incident happened at 1 am in the midnight of Diwali at the ATM booth of P&B Bank near Dilbag Hotel in Sankara, Dharsiwa. After seeing the incident site, the bank staff and the police estimate that this incident was committed by two or more thieves. The thieves who entered the ATM with the intention of getting rid of the loaded money made a lot of efforts.
When he did not get the money, he vandalized the machine and caused damage. Due to this the bank suffered a loss of Rs 2.5 lakh. Today on Monday, when the bank opened, the staff who went to load the money came face to face with the incident.
