Attempted murder of Upsarpanch with Tata Safari
Janjgir. Upsarpanch Narayan Prasad Suryavanshi was hit by a car from behind. It is alleged that Ashok Jaiswal of the village tried to kill Deputy Sarpanch Narayan Prasad Suryavanshi by hitting him from behind with a Tata Safari car due to old enmity. Deputy Sarpanch and Mukund Sahu, who was sitting behind the bike, also suffered serious injuries in the accident. On receiving the complaint, the police have registered an offense under section 307 of the IPC against the accused.
According to the information received from the police, Narayan Prasad Suryavanshi, deputy sarpanch of Choriya gram panchayat, was going to the district office Bamhnidih in his bike on July 5 with Mukund Sahu of the village for the work of the panchayat. As soon as Jharra reached near the turn at 4 pm, Ashok Jaiswal hit the bike from behind while trying to climb his white Tata Safari car CG 04 HB 0707 on the bike of the Deputy Sarpanch.
Due to stumbling, Narayan Suryavanshi along with the bike and Mukund Sahu sitting behind fell in the field about 15 feet away from the road. As a result, along with Narayan Suryavanshi’s right leg, right hand and paw, there have been injuries at many places in the body. At the same time, Mukund Sahu has also suffered serious injuries. After the incident, Ashok Jaiswal fled from there in Tata Safari. Dujram Suryavanshi and Jitendra Suryavanshi, who were coming from the front on the road, picked up both the injured from the field and took them to Bamhnidih hospital. After first aid, on the report of Upsarpanch Narayan Prasad Suryavanshi, the Saragaon police have registered an offense under Section 307 against Ashok Jaiswal.
