Attendance of goons and miscreants in the police control room, instructions were not given to commit crimes

Durg: SP Shalabh Kumar Sinha has directed to strengthen the basic policing and keeping in view the upcoming assembly elections 2023 and festivals, surveillance, checking of goons and miscreants, imposing their attendance, verifying their livelihood, staying away from any kind of criminal activities, anywhere. Instructions have been given to take action to maintain peace and order without creating disruption.

In compliance with which former Sanjay Kumar Dhruv, Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Durg, the vigilantes and goons of the area were summoned to the Police Control Room, Bhilai, in which the social environment was disturbed by the presence of more than 60 remaining vigilantes and goons of the area. Strict instructions were given to remain in the police station, not to indulge in any criminal activities, not to create any kind of disturbance anywhere and to take concrete legal action if any kind of complaint is received. Also, by running a continuous campaign against anti-social elements in the city for 3 consecutive days, action was taken against more than 20 people in 151, 34 (2), further action will continue in every police station/post under the campaign.

In the control room premises, a total of more than 250 goons and miscreants were interrogated and their attendance was taken. Those who could not attend, their absence report was filed. The station in-charges were instructed to summon them separately.
