Attention: 31st birthday should not be celebrated in jail, strict checking by police

Vapi: State police has been alerted regarding 31st December. Vapi city police of Valsad district has started checking the people coming from Daman to Gujarat on the border of Vapi and Daman. It is noteworthy that many people from Daman come to Gujarat after drinking alcohol.

Then at Dabhel check post, police personnel at Kachigam check post checked the drivers coming from Daman. Under which, during the checking in Vapi city area, about 50 drunkards were caught from both the check posts and taken to the town police station. Policemen examined car drivers, bike drivers, rickshaw pullers and rickshaw passengers coming from Daman with breath analyzers. The trunk of the vehicle and its contents were also examined. This action of the police created panic among the drivers and drunkards coming from Daman.
