Audience will appreciate my character in ‘Honey Trap Squad’: Sharad Malhotra

Mumbai (IANS). Actor Sharad Malhotra, who will be seen playing a dark character in the show ‘Honey Trap Squad’, believes that the audience will shower him with immense love for the hard work he has put in for the show.

Sharad’s recently released show ‘Honey Trap Squad’ featured him in four different characters including a Dabbawala, a Sardar and a Kinnar.

At the special screening of the show, the actor talked about the show and his character.

Talking about his character, the actor said, “This is not a regular character. It is a different character, which I have not played till now. Many years ago, I did a show on TV where I was shown in slightly darker shades, but this character is completely dark. I have worked really hard for this role and I hope the audience will like me in this avatar and not hate me for this character. It was not easy for me to play this role.”

Sharad was recently seen in a music video with Akanksha Puri, who is also acting in the show.

Talking about her, he said, “I was surprised to see Akanksha’s acting in the show. We have always seen her in reality shows and never seen her acting this much. But this show also shows her acting side and she is fantastic.”

The show ‘Honey Trap Squad’ is a rollercoaster of emotions, blurring the lines between duty and desires.

It also stars Karanvir Bohra and Manu Punjabi in pivotal roles.
