“The sales volume has increased due to Yagya being held at many places in Ayodhya and demand is coming from other places also. These flags are also used during Katha and Bhagwat.”

“We sell at the grocery store and earn Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000 per day,” he said.

Modi visited Ayodhya on December 30 and on the day of his arrival, he saw a large number of houses in the main city as well as in the long periphery of Ayodhya with saffron flags on their rooftops and balconies.

During his visit, he also saw many residents standing on the roadside carrying flags.
