Balod police arrested two from Raipur, this incident happened with the driver
Balod: Two accused from Delhi who robbed a truck driver in Purur have been arrested by Purur police from Raipur. The incident is of 6th December. The police disclosed the case on Saturday after the accused were sent to jail.
The accused include Sandeep Bagde (21 years) Delhi and Shersingh alias Ankit (24 years) Delhi. The victim driver has said that three people were involved in the incident. Two have been caught and one is said to be absconding.

The driver of a white colored vehicle, car number CG-04-HD-4932, coming from Dhamtari side near 30 Marg, parked his car in front of the truck, abused the driver and two persons in the car and threatened the truck. They attacked me, took out Rs 30,000 from his pocket and looted it. The crime was registered in Purur police station and taken up for investigation.
During the investigation, after seeing the CCTV footage installed around the incident site Mitan Dhaba, the vehicle number CG-04-HD- 4932 of the accused was verified and immediately on the basis of the said vehicle number, the name and address of the registered owner of the vehicle was obtained through the Transport Department. Information about the contact number was obtained and after tracing the location of the obtained mobile number with the help of cyber cell Balod, the suspects Sandeep Bagde and Shersingh alias Ankit were taken into custody near Raipur and after interrogating the accused, they admitted to have committed the crime. Also Rs 20,000 in cash was recovered from their possession. And the car number CG-04-HD-4932 used in the incident was seized, the accused were arrested and sent to jail on judicial remand. The search for the address of the absconding accused in the case is going on.
