Balod SP told about the new law in detail
Balod: As per the instructions of Police Headquarters Naya Raipur, a one-day workshop was organized for journalists regarding new laws in the presence of Superintendent of Police S.R. Bhagat at Cyber Cell Balod.
The objective of this workshop was to make journalists aware of the necessary information about the new criminal laws which came into effect from 01 July 2024, including the Indian Justice Code, Indian Civil Defense Code, Indian Evidence Act, so that they can provide accurate and detailed information to the society.
In the workshop, information was given on other important points of the new law including information about Electronic First Information Report (E-FIR), new processes of Search and Seizure, time-bound process, mob lynching, organized crime, snatching, community service and paperless procedure.
Additional Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Joshi, DSP Navneet Kaur, SDOP Devansh Rathore and journalists participated in the above workshop.
