Bamboo curry seized from the possession of a small businessman, the flying squad took action

Jagdalpur. As part of the intensive patrolling work by the flying squad of Kanger Valley National Park, Karil (Basta) was seized around the market by patrolling the Koleng weekly market with the help of the employees of Bastar Forest Division Koleng. An attempt was being made by a small trader (Kochneen) from Jagdalpur to buy and sell in the urban area.

Efforts are being made by Kanger Valley National Park for the protection of forests and wild animals by patrolling continuously. Being lured by some urban coaches, they try to cut basta (bamboo shoots) from rural forest areas and sell them in the market. This hinders the growth of bamboo forests in the forest.

Mr. Dhammasheel Ganveer, director of Kanger Valley National Park, has appealed to the villagers to inform the forest department or the concerned village eco-development committee of the coaches sold in the market or city after breaking the bags from the forest, so that the bamboo forests can be conserved and promoted. So that the future generation can get benefit from it. In this whole process, flying squad in-charge Mr. KR Kashyap and his team have contributed significantly.
