Bandi assures sanction of Central funds for women’s hostel

Karimnagar: During his visit to the Women’s Government Degree College in Karimnagar on Monday, BJP National General Secretary and Member of Parliament, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, assured that Central funds would be allocated under CSR for the construction of a dedicated hostel for women degree college students in the region.

During his inspection of the college, Bandi Sanjay Kumar also took note of the solar power generation system established with Rs 10 lakh MP LADs funds. Interacting with the students, he emphasized that the solar power system would address issues related to power and water supply.

Furthermore, he expressed the commitment to elevate Karimnagar Women’s Degree College to a top-ranking institution. “Education should not only serve career purposes but also uphold values, culture, and goals,” he stated.

Addressing the media later, Bandi Sanjay Kumar highlighted the unfair treatment of Sarpanches in the state. He mentioned that the sarpanches are planning to protest starting next week, and the party leadership will be consulted to support their cause. The tenure of sarpanchs in Telangana is set to end on Feb 1, and efforts to address their pending bills have not been successful despite multiple appeals to the government.

Bandi Sanjay Kumar warned that the Congress government needs to rectify the mistakes of the previous administration and address the issues faced by Sarpanches. He cautioned that if not addressed, the Congress party would face consequences similar to the BRS incident.

Turning his attention to the upcoming Parliament elections, Bandi Sanjay Kumar criticized former MP Vinod Kumar as a non-local who has neglected the people of Karimnagar. He accused Vinod Kumar of only engaging with the public when elections are imminent, emphasizing that BJP is poised to secure over 350 seats nationally and more than 10 seats in Telangana.

Bandi Sanjay Kumar stated that the NDA alliance is the way forward, asserting that leaders joining BJP in Telangana will have a promising future. He declared that the INDIA alliance has disintegrated, and only parties aligning with the NDA alliance will thrive.
