Bareilly: New railway line will be laid from Firozabad to Kasganj
Bareilly: A new railway line will be laid from Firozabad to Kasganj. A budget of Rs 389 crore has been approved for this. The work of this railway line is to be completed within three years. When the new line is laid from Firozabad to Kasganj, Tundla station will be directly connected to Tanakpur via Bareilly.
Till now trains go only from Bareilly to Kasganj. Although the track is till Mathura, but to go to Mathura also one has to change the train from Kasganj. There has been a long standing demand to run a train from Bareilly to Tundla. Public Relations Officer Rajendra Singh said that the work of laying Firozabad-Kasganj railway line has been approved. Work will start soon.
Upasana Superfast 13 hours late
The delay in trains is not stopping. Early morning trains are arriving in the evening. Upasana Superfast train arrived late by 13 hours on Sunday. Passengers remained troubled due to this. Upasana Superfast, which runs from Dehradun to Howrah, arrived late by 13 hours on Sunday. This train was to arrive at 4:05 am on Sunday. The train arrived at the junction 13 hours late at 5:05 pm.
Apart from this, Bareilly-Prayagraj Express, which started again from March 2, departed with a delay of two hours on the second day on Sunday. The departure time of the train is 5:30 pm. It was sent off at 7:30 pm. The re-operation of this train started from March 2. The train was rescheduled on the very first day, Saturday. The train had left here six hours late on the very first day at 11:30 pm.
