Tamil Nadu BJP leader Nainar Nagendran raised questions on Chief Minister Joseph Vijay and the security of the state.

Tamil Nadu Tamil Nadu: Senior Tamil Nadu BJP leader Nainar Nagendran has criticized state Chief Minister Joseph Vijay, saying that his manner of speaking was such that it angered the people who voted. He also said that he has not received any clear information from the party high command on political and administrative matters.
Speaking to the media in Chennai, Nainar Nagendran said, “I have no information about the resignation of former Tamil Nadu BJP leader Annamalai from the party. Similarly, I have not received any information about the change in the leadership of Tamil Nadu BJP. The leadership did not ask me about the assembly election process or anyone’s complaints against Tamil Nadu BJP.”
He said he congratulated former leader Annamalai on her birthday and inquired about her well-being, but there was no discussion on any other topic. He made it clear that his intention was not to create any kind of political controversy or make anti-party statements.
Apart from this, Nainar Nagendran also raised questions on the functioning of the new government in Tamil Nadu. He said that it has been 25 days since the new Thaveka-led government was formed, but the security situation of women and girls in the state remains worrisome. From little girls to elderly women are becoming victims of sexual harassment and the crimes are increasing every day.
He also said that instead of getting stronger, the security system is continuously weakening. Police and administrative officials need to take immediate steps to ensure the safety of the general public. Nainar Nagendran said that negligence in matters related to public safety can affect political stability and people’s trust.
Political analysts say that BJP’s situation in Tamil Nadu is still sensitive. This ongoing rhetoric among party leaders and the ambiguity regarding new leadership changes can affect the image of the party. At the same time, public safety and increasing crimes against women remain a serious challenge for the state government.
Nainar Nagendran also warned that if women’s safety and crime control are not addressed, there could be serious repercussions at both political and social levels. He said that the party high command and the state administration should take immediate action and take concrete steps to stop the crime.
After this statement the discussion has intensified in political circles. This situation is becoming challenging for both Tamil Nadu BJP and the state government. Statements of leaders and issues of women’s safety will remain important in the coming days, both politically and socially.
