Bear fell in the well, forest department team pulled out safely
Gorella Pendra Marwahi. A bear cub, which had fallen into a farmer’s well, was pulled out safely with the efforts of villagers and forest department staff. This morning in Madwahi village of Marwahi forest division, some children heard the sound of an animal from inside the village Hublal well. When he went near, he saw that a bear cub was lying inside, who was trying to save his life by beating his hands and feet. There was a crowd of villagers and the forest department was immediately informed. The Forest Department team reached the spot and removed a crowd of villagers and lowered a ladder into the well. After a lot of effort, the cub climbed the ladder and slowly came out of the well. Meanwhile, the Forest Department staff had made the villagers far away from the well so that the bear could run further into the forest without panic.
The villagers told that they were hearing the sound of a female bear since late last night. During the rescue, the female bear was making noise while hiding away from the villagers. According to the villagers, this cub was the mother of the bear. As soon as the cub ran out of the well, after a while the voice of the female bear also stopped. The cub had reached him.
