Beneficiaries remained deprived, goods in junk

Takhatpur. These days, many cases of irregularities under the government schemes are coming to light in Chhattisgarh. These days, the issue of junk books distributed in schools is in the headlines. Now, a case of tool kit box being junk has come to light in Takhatpur Municipality of Bilaspur.

These tool kits allotted under government schemes are now rotting in junk, while they were to be distributed to the beneficiaries of the Charmkar community.

It has been seen in this case that in 2015-16, about two to three dozen tool kits were given to Takhatpur Municipality by the Primitive Tribe Scheduled Caste Development Department. But with the passage of time and despite the change of power and officials, these tool kits could not reach the needy. Due to the negligence of the administration, these are now lying in junk.
