Bengaluru-Coimbatore Vande Bharat service starts from today
Chennai: Vande Bharat Express train service connecting important places like Bengaluru and Coimbatore will start from today.
According to a press release issued by the Railway Department, the Coimbatore-Bangalore Cantonment Vande Bharat Express train (car number: 20642) left Coimbatore at 5 am and will reach Bengaluru at 11.30 am. The incoming train (20641) will depart from Bengaluru at 1.40 pm and reach at 8 pm.
It has also been said that the tickets were sold out within a few hours of the booking starting.
The train runs six days except Thursday. The express will likely stop at Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Dharmapuri and Hosur stations during arrival and departure.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Bengaluru-Coimbatore Express yesterday through video conference.
