Better execute the activities of Women and Child Development Department – Acting District Collector

Acting District Collector Gopal Lal Swarnakar gave instructions to better conduct the schemes of the Women and Child Development Department for the upliftment of women and children. He directed all the CDPOs to register all eligible beneficiaries in nutrition tracker through Anganwadi workers, 100% complete mobile and Aadhaar verification in nutrition tracker, get children’s weight and length/height registered in nutrition tracker, target in nutrition tracker Instructions were given to conduct home visits accordingly, to register basic information in the nutrition tracker, distribution of take home ration and hot nutritious food and entry in the nutrition tracker.
The officiating District Collector gave these instructions in the meeting of the District Level Monitoring and Review Committee for Women and Child Development and the District Nutrition Convergence Planning Committee held in the District Collectorate meeting hall on Tuesday. He instructed the Zilla Parishad officer to construct and repair Anganwadi buildings, toilets and tanks, as well as to the Medical Department to prepare MCHN micro plans, to the Education Department to ensure the availability of good buildings for the Anganwadi centers operating in schools, and to construct a separate building for the Anganwadi. Instructed the Electricity Department to provide NOC, to get electricity connections done at Anganwadi centers where demand notes have been deposited.
In the meeting, Subhash Bishnoi, Deputy Director, Women and Child Development Department, Jaisalmer discussed the status of Anganwadi centers, approved/working/vacant posts of honorarium workers, status of basic facilities (drinking water, toilets and electricity) of Anganwadi centers, distribution of supplementary nutrition, nutrition tracker. Detailed information was provided about all the information to be recorded, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Indira Gandhi Matritva Poshan Yojana, contact case and coordination of all concerned departments.
In the meeting, Deputy Director Women Empowerment Ashok Kumar Goyal, Dr. Ram Naresh Sharma Department of Ayurveda, Jaswant Kumar Gaur CPO, R.S. Narwal Joint Director, Agriculture Department, Shivchand Bavaliya Assistant Director, Horticulture Department, Deepak Chaturvedi Agricultural Scientist, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Child Development Project Officer Karan Singh, Nathu Singh, Development Officer, Zilla Parishad Jaisalmer, Ajay Singh Kadwasara DPM as well as other officers was present.
