New Delhi (ANI): Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Wednesday criticized the Rajasthan government and said more than 2 lakh incidents of atrocities against women and 35,000 incidents of sexual exploitation were recorded in the last 5 years. Union Minister Anurag Thakur said, “If there is any example of anarchy where law and order has completely broken down, it is Rajasthan. “More than 2 lakh incidents of atrocities have been recorded in the last five years.” There were 35,000 incidents of sexual assault and violence against women in Rajasthan and Ashok Gehlot’s Congress government kept sleeping.”
“But what has happened today shows that no one is afraid there. What has happened to Rajasthan? Rajasthan was once known for tourism, and today it has become the crime capital… It is time to say goodbye to the Rajasthan government.” , He added.
This has come to light after a person was crushed to death by a tractor in Bayana town of Bharatpur district of Rajasthan on Wednesday. This incident was captured on camera and the video went viral on social media.
BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra also on Wednesday criticized the Gehlot government for the deteriorating law and order situation in the state and challenged Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi to visit Adda village in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district.
The BJP leader demanded Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi to come to Bharatpur before addressing the rally and asked her to show bravery and take a stand in this regard.
Sambit Patra further said that this is not just a case of murder of one person; It’s all about Rajasthan; All these are Congress ruled states.
Priyanka Gandhi is in Rajasthan in view of the state assembly elections.
Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Assembly and BJP leader Rajendra Rathore also commented on the Bharatpur incident.

Assembly elections will be held in Rajasthan on 25 November. Voting will take place in a single phase in the 200-member House.
According to the Election Commission, counting of votes will take place on December 3 along with other four states: Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram.
